Creativity begets creativity. If you feel it, you will exude it and if you give it you will receive it much like love. There is a fundamental energy to this I live and breathe every day as an artist. This sentiment was of course heightened after turning in my first manuscript in early July. I can confidently say I had been creating, writing, photographing, producing every day for 9 months. To even type these words is a dream come true. I am most grateful for the process, it has not only been a powerful journey but personally transformative. So, when my dear friend and fellow creative entrepreneur, Julie Solomon, invited me as a guest on The Influencer Podcast, I was honored and thrilled to share an emotional conversation with a beautiful soul in my dinging room. This was the perfect timing to get into real, rich, vulnerable conversations about transitions and targeting big, scary goals. Julie is an invaluable advocate, resource, and inspiration for entrepreneurs in every stage of their journey. We cried, we laughed, we shared stories of dismantling limiting beliefs, honoring creativity as a unifier, and pursuing dreams for the greater good. I believe life is always speaking to us and the universe has a way of intervening - it is then up to us to listen and decide if we want to be greater than our current circumstances. My only goal today is to be a gentle reminder for you that you are pure love, you are magnificent just the way you are and you have such unique gifts within you that can also benefit the world. I love you and I believe in you. Thank you for taking the time to listen Xx - AR

As an architectural photographer and stylist, I see through my lens how we create and combine elements of a room to express our style or capture a feeling of warmth. Whether hanging drapes high for drama or small vintage touches that add just the right patina and personality, there are a few tricks of the trade to create a space that’s warm, welcoming, and soulful. Naturally, I particularly love spaces centered around community, comfort, and connection. So when U.S. News and World Report asked me to contribute a few tips to style a living room, I was happy to share what makes this communal space so special. Head to their site to read a few tips and hopefully add even more style and substance to your beloved space.
TV Interview - Self Care is The New Business Plan with Alyssa Rosenheck + Daytime With Kimberly and Esteban
HAPPY NATIONAL RELAXATION DAY - and what better way to kick off the day with my easy to implement self care “check-ins”. You may remember my first segment with the kind souls over at Daytime With Kimberly and Esteban on my fool-proof four “Cs” of packing a carry-on. I sat down with them for a second round of sharing and we chatted self-care for success. Leaving an all-consuming corporate world after my cancer diagnosis and entering the entrepreneurial creative realm made me lean into a reliable self-care routine whole-heartedly. Stress is such a creativity killer, and no one is exempt. So when you aspire to create, connect, and cultivate your dreams every day, you must create space for yourself. I’ve made self-care into a second-nature, three-step daily routine so no matter my schedule, mental state, or physical location, it’s something I can use to find new sources of energy and creativity within. Watch the interview for more on how I start my day with an intention, take stock mid-day and throw out the rules for time-management, and what I do to renew and restore at the end of each day. Xx
MORNING CHECK-IN: START WITH AN INTENTION: How are we going to show up for ourselves and others?
AFTERNOON CHECK-IN: Energy Management vs Time Management
EVENING CHECK-IN: Let Water signal renewal AND RESTORATION #Tubtime or #Shower!
TV Interview - Take The Stress Out of Packing and Traveling with Alyssa Rosenheck + Daytime with Kimberly and Esteban
I started this week in a state that pretty much matches the size of my dreams - Hello TEXAS!! It is such an honor to join Kimberly and Esteban to share my go to travel tips. We talked all things carry-ons, as I spend so much of my creative career in flight (averaging 100,000 sky miles a year and where I wrote most of my book, The New Southern). For me, traveling is a mindset and perspective is essential. It’s all about how we respond to the unexpected and the uncontrollable. Having a reliable, working system for my carry-on allows me to focus on what I love so much about the experience, which is all the abundant creativity that travel ignites for me. Having a plan and working the plan gives me the space for inspiration and creativity to grow, even on a cramped, cross-country flight. Click the link below for the full run down of my four “Cs” of carry-on packing and have fun shopping each category below! Safe travels every one and much love!! - AR
