Colorful Chic Christmas with Style Me Pretty Living

Tis the season .............. ! With the holidays around the corner, I collaborated with the color queen herself, Kendall Simmons, as she showcased Christmas with all the Hues of the rainbow. This is a vibrant and playful way to approach the holiday spirit including fresh lavender and beautiful florals in the Christmas tree.

This time of year represents family, substance and blending the old with the new. I loved shooting this project for Kendall, because, while we are all rushing around closing out the end of the year and prepping for the holidays..... this shoot reminds me to live a life of color and creativity. I am grateful to the talented ladies at Style Me Pretty Living for the beautiful feature. I wish you and your families a wonderful holiday season along with a beautiful New Year. Xx

California Calm and Cool with Mydomaine and Amanda Barnes Xx

The holidays are only days away and already things are so very busy! What better way to start off the season than with this calming space? 

Sentimental as it may sound, Amanda Barnes Interiors made room for her clients to create memories. Intentionally calming color palettes and dual-purpose rooms for this growing family. As a photographer & stylist, I am drawn to the substance she's created in such gentle soothing spaces.

Known for having many talents: incredible mother, talented designer, and wonderful friend, Amanda's work speaks for itself. She is most recognized for her comfortable and chic family-friendly homes. This Silicon Valley home tour is no different, a peaceful extension of her beloved clients, which includes its own personalized meditation room.  

I am wishing  each of you a Holiday filled with love and warmth. I am hoping this space will set the tone for a relaxing holiday season. Her blog is called A Beautiful Mess but there’s much more beauty than mess. I recently had the privilege to shoot the home of Elsie Lawson: blogger, lover of color, and new-to-Nashville transplant. As you might expect, her home is wall-to-wall inspiration—loaded with color, fun, and genuine personality. She’s mastered the art of displaying uncomplicated collections, knowing when to push color and when to rely on white paint to offer rest. Floor to ceiling, Elsie’s home strikes the perfect balance—bold yet soft, bright yet calm, patterns and peace. It’s a hive of creativity and life, full of house plants that make me happy.

Sean Anderson likes his layers and I personally love shooting them. His latest Master Suite in this warm Memphis home is a testament to what I’m telling you: Black is back and layers are in!!! Rich, warm black-tones set the mood for a master suite that magically feels equal parts art gallery, Smithsonian, and the coziest bedroom ever!!!! His layers are works of art—like jigsaw puzzles fitting together perfectly to adorn a wall without overwhelming the space. With creative and curated collections adorning the walls and comfort at every turn, this master suite is a remarkable space. Take a look HERE!
