Today is a fresh start. A new year. Today marks the day of new goals, larger dreams, and doing great things with great intention. Last year was a growth period for me and my businesses. I am so grateful for the lessons, for the wins, and for recognizing the ultimate belief that when I do things with great intention and authenticity, the universe opens up in a beautiful way and dreams do come true. Things are not always as crisp as the images you see... I have learned to say no to opportunities that may not serve me in a healthy way. I am learning to be more vulnerable as a business owner and entrepreneur. I have learned to trust my instincts, which requires silencing the world around me. I am committed to only pursuing the things in life that make me feel alive and passionate. I have learned to let go and trust in divine timing. I have learned to value decisive progress over perfection. But most of all, I have learned to embrace my fears and set the intention of being fearless everyday. It's hard and not easy as we are all human and come with our own set of insecurities but at the end of the day, we all have a creative and authentic voice that is meant to be cultivated and heard. I encourage 2017 to be the year of supporting one another, to being fearless, and dreaming even larger than the year before. I am sending you all love and light and wishing you a warm Happy New Year from my heart to yours. Xx

California Calm and Cool with Mydomaine and Amanda Barnes Xx
The holidays are only days away and already things are so very busy! What better way to start off the season than with this calming space?
Sentimental as it may sound, Amanda Barnes Interiors made room for her clients to create memories. Intentionally calming color palettes and dual-purpose rooms for this growing family. As a photographer & stylist, I am drawn to the substance she's created in such gentle soothing spaces.
Known for having many talents: incredible mother, talented designer, and wonderful friend, Amanda's work speaks for itself. She is most recognized for her comfortable and chic family-friendly homes. This Silicon Valley home tour is no different, a peaceful extension of her beloved clients, which includes its own personalized meditation room.
I am wishing each of you a Holiday filled with love and warmth. I am hoping this space will set the tone for a relaxing holiday season. Thank you to the talented team at MYDOMAINE for supporting my collaborations. I am always so grateful to collaborate with such talented and inspiring women. Sending you all Love. Xx
A Color Rich Austin Home to Brighten Any Day on MYDOMAINE
Designer..... it’s such a blanket word, covering so many genres of creative expression. But when I say the Elizabeth Mollin is a designer, well, I feel like it’s not a big enough word for her talent. She’s a textile designer. An interior designer. She’s the designer behind interesting and gorgeous custom wallpaper lines. So, yes, she’s a designer, and so much more.
I was introduced to Elizabeth’s work, Stone Textile, a few years ago through one of my first clients. Quickly we developed a mutual admiration for the others art form and maintained contact—that’s the gift of social media, the ease in which we connect and stay connected. Three years later, I happily accepted the opportunity to photograph Elizabeth’s work.
Elizabeth has established a reputation as a designer with impeccable taste and fearless use of gorgeous jewel tones and dynamic patterns. Her innate ability to anchor bright and bold elements and compliment them with rest sets her apart. You’ll love every moment of her work.
Congratulations, Elizabeth, on this MYDOMAINE feature. And as always, it’s an honor to be invited into these projects and to work with the talented editors at MYDOMAINE. Click HERE for more details. Xx
DOMINO MAGAZINE | Fall in love with Color, Collections, and A Beautiful Mess
Her blog is called A Beautiful Mess but there’s much more beauty than mess. I recently had the privilege to shoot the home of Elsie Lawson: blogger, lover of color, and new-to-Nashville transplant. As you might expect, her home is wall-to-wall inspiration—loaded with color, fun, and genuine personality. She’s mastered the art of displaying uncomplicated collections, knowing when to push color and when to rely on white paint to offer rest. Floor to ceiling, Elsie’s home strikes the perfect balance—bold yet soft, bright yet calm, patterns and peace. It’s a hive of creativity and life, full of house plants that make me happy.
As always, it’s an honor to work with Domino Magazine—to see more of Elsie’s happy home, pick up the Fall Issue TODAY Xx And thank you, Elsie, for sharing your bright spirit and Beautiful Mess. Xx
