I personally like to incorporate the sentiment of love everyday. In a world of grand gestures, I think it is important to experience this feeling in a stripped down basic way and apply it to everything we pursue. I find love to be simple in a complex world and I see it in even the smallest details that exist with in the spaces I shoot and amongst my nearest and dearest.

My goal is to encourage and empower those around me to pursue their authentic path. It's definitely not for the faint of heart, but I guarantee you pursuing the things you love in life will get you well on your way to living your dream. Instagram's Hashtagged Podcast with Alyssa Rosenheck Xx
I love podcasts!! It is one of my favorite ways to pass the time when I am spending countless hours editing and on a plane. I immediately said yes when I received the invitation to be part of The Hashtagged Podcast. It was such an honor when Jordan Powers invited me to be a guest on his show. This is a relaxed and informal conversation... we talked about life, authenticity, architectural photography, we chatted about instagram and he dove into some of my branding tips and tricks.
Southern Home Magazine with Laurel Powell
The old saying goes, "the devil is in the details" but from where I stand, behind the lens, there are no mistakes, there's nothing to rethink, there is only beauty: curated and thoughtful moments, intentional design, and exceptional style. This is what I have come to love about Laurel Powell. As both an Architect and Interior Designer, she envisions the full scope of the homes she touches and it makes sense that no detail is left undone.
Recently, I had the joy of shooting and styling one of her Chattanooga projects. This was a beautiful classic home, rich with tradition, and timelessness. In what might be an impossible balance for some, Laurel has single handily gathered all the substance a house can hold and arranged it perfectly. Her outdoor living space incorporates a depth through layers of texture and clever pattern. The open and airy kitchen is grounded with a gorgeous natural stone island and balanced in perfect scale with a statement pendant. I could go on, room by room, but I will let the images tell the story instead.... this home shines bright and was a joy to style.
As always, I consider it a gift to work with such talented designers and an honor to see this project in Southern Home Magazine.
