What an interesting time to be birthing a book. I have experienced every emotion possible and I am ending with appreciation, gratitude and surrender. This project started out as a belief, quickly grew into a fire in my belly, and ultimately manifested into something so much larger than myself. Our society is more divided than ever and I just launched a project that celebrates coming together with community, creativity and curiosity. I am deeply grateful for those who have supported me through this process along with those who participated within this book.
As an artist, I know when a project is complete when it no longer feels like my own and has taken on new life. You have all been my angels and you are responsible for giving this book wings to soar the sky. May it touch the hearts of communities and younger generations to come.
