Today I’m thrilled to share a recent shoot featured in US Weekly with The Bachelorette’s Kaitlyn Bristowe and Decorist, with which she collaborated to design her very own podcast room for her series, Off The Vine.

This shoot is my second with this dynamic GirlBoss, the first being a shoot with Kaitlyn to reveal her total home redesign, which you can see HERE in People. The most recent project was such a joy to work on, as Kaitlyn is a true light in this world and knows how to keep the atmosphere light, bright and filled with humor. You’ll also notice some major feminine vibes meet high-impact design moments, like supersized florals on a statement wall or the charming desk silhouette finished in sharp black lacquer and brass. Although she shares the home with Shawn (and their adorable pooch, Tucker!) I love that Jessica McCarthy with Decorist created a feminine but strong aesthetic for Kaitlyn's Off the Vine Podcast room in their home. I love being in a home and seeing the walls reflect the personality of its owner. The way the soft textures and feminine flowers are juxtaposed by a moody color palette and high gloss surfaces brought a few things to mind with this collaboration:

Seek to be bold, fearless, feminine, creative and authentic while also being soft, kind, gentle, giving..... all in equal amounts.... Xx

We are all in this together.... This room although is just a room... it is a conduit of joy and storytelling.... I look past the 4 walls and see this as a space of connection. As we are all starting our daily routines and looking at the clock, I encourage you all to take a few moments... and harness your inner and most authentic voice and pursue equal amounts of fearlessness today sprinkled with kindness and love.
