PureWow Coterie: Home Influencer Alyssa Rosenheck

It is such an honor and I am happy to finally share with you that I am part of a new group of digital influencers and a member of PureWow's Coterie! As its name suggests, we're a small group of influencers "connected by similar obsessions." This partnership is an exciting way to expand my reach, flex my creative muscle, and create new relationships with more decor and image-obsessed readers.  I can't wait to share my favorite decor tips, trends, and finds with you (I also may have a very cool New Southern Passion Project up my sleeve)!! PureWow is a woman's online resource dedicated in making your life more interesting, beautiful and manageable!! A High-Style Bachelor Pad in Austin, Tx with Architectural Digest

I’m excited to share designer James Saavedra’s home in Austin, TX with you. This 750-square-foot condominium is the ultimate example of small space chic!! He’s filled the space with the most amazing art and vintage finds, namely the living room coffee table which is a beautiful piece from John Saladino . The finished product was the fruit of a collaborative styling effort. I incorporated layered elements throughout the home to add dimesion and one of my favorite ways to add depth were the beautiful frames along the kitchen counter to give the space a little structure. The immensely creative James, who’s also an artist, created the black and white drawings in those frames upon my request—the night before the shoot. Improvising: it’s one of the secrets to nailing the perfect shot!!!

The Germantown Inn Featured in Condé Nast Traveler & The New York Times!

This month, my shoot of Nashville's colorful Germantown Inn was featured in the print edition of Condé Nast Traveler and The New York Times! The boutique hotel is in the heart of up and coming Germantown (one of my absolute favorite neighborhoods and home to my all time favorite restaurant, City House)  and is designed with punchy color and comfort in mind. One of the trademark details of the space is the eclectic artwork featuring Founding Fathers in colorful hairdos. It's fun to use those unique design elements to create a focal point for the shot. It's also great to work with amazing local businesses and share the Nashville love!

My Top Tips on Styling and Photographing Your Space with Dering Hall

I am thrilled to partner with Dering Hall today and share my styling and photography expertise!! I felt like I was a photographer long before professionally picking up a camera in the way I wanted to capture a sense of "stillness" and "light" in a moment. Since then, I have carved out my own niche and have developed a successful formula for my clients when it comes to styling and photographing their beautiful spaces. I like to think that I add a layer of "practical fantasy" and "proof of life" as I style and shoot a space.
