It’s not everyday that you plan a visit to the “Sponge Capital of the World”, but seeing as how I love a good bath as much as I do (check out my recent National Bubble Bath Day giveaway to see just how much), I couldn’t help but be intrigued by this unexpected city! Let me introduce you to the darling little town of Tarpon Springs, FL a beachy township located along central Florida’s sunny Gulf Coast, known for its incredible Greek community — which some say is the largest in all of the United States! It fills my heart to be introduced to creatives and their unique cities all over the country while working alongside some of the design industry’s leading stars. Stumbling on this charming gem was a fun perk of shooting for my client and friend, Oxford Design Exchange. The bold, beachy space was designed as an ideal first home for a young and gracious family. Marble floors topped with antique Moroccan rugs and dotted use of pattern against a muted color scheme made for a fun play on texture and personality, perfect for entertaining. It was a project with a lot of moving parts and lots of hands on deck, which makes it so fulfilling to see this old-meets-new space come to life!
