Domino Exclusive: Oui We's Andi Eaton takes you inside her Nashville home!

Recently, I was asked to shoot the home of a great friend of mine, Andi Eaton, for Domino, and the entire day—which was so much fun, might I add—was full of little reminders of why I love the direction contemporary design is headed and why I love what I do.

Andi's home is full of love and happy little surprises, just like she is! Her journey is similar to my own in so many ways. She began her career in the corporate world and completely pivoted to become a writer, founding the blog Oui We and publishing books. Her latest, Wanderful: The Bohemian's Guide to Traveling in Style, is more than just a stylish travel companion for the free-spirited. It's like taking your best friend with you on the road! And her space, colorful, inviting, and unique all at once, is filled with such great antique and vintage finds. The cozy, bright Nashville space reminds me of what so many southerners are embracing in their homes: balance. Balance between old and new, color and neutral, high and low, classic and unexpected. 

In addition, and I say this often, I cherish the relationships I build with my clients. No matter their age, aesthetic, or place they call home, I invest in genuine friendships with the talented, authentic, inspiring creatives and entrepreneurs I have the privilege to call my colleagues and loving friends. Shooting the home of a dear, was like the best of both worlds, and reminded me how grateful I am to work with such smart, forward-thinking creatives every single day—and how the energy of The New Southern is everywhere! Keep shining bright sweet friends and I am so proud of you Andi!! Xx

THANK YOU DOMINO Xx NEW BOOK!!!

Gratitude. Collaboration. Authenticity. These are the words I try to live by both personally and professionally. I am humbled and grateful to have TWO projects in the NEW Domino Book. Like many of you, Domino has always been a source of inspiration and when I received the invitation to be part of their new book, it was a dream come true and bucket list item for me. 

Since its debut TEN years ago, DOMINO: The Book of Decorating, has been an inspiration staple and a favorite design resource. Lucky for us, the new DOMINO BOOK was officially launched last week.  It is an honor to be in such great company with so many talents in this book. I am deeply grateful for the dear Elsie Larson for the opportunity to capture her beautiful home and for the talented editors who brought this project to life. Thank you. Xx

DOMINO MAGAZINE | Fall in love with Color, Collections, and A Beautiful Mess

Her blog is called A Beautiful Mess but there’s much more beauty than mess. I recently had the privilege to shoot the home of Elsie Lawson: blogger, lover of color, and new-to-Nashville transplant. As you might expect, her home is wall-to-wall inspiration—loaded with color, fun, and genuine personality. She’s mastered the art of displaying uncomplicated collections, knowing when to push color and when to rely on white paint to offer rest. Floor to ceiling, Elsie’s home strikes the perfect balance—bold yet soft, bright yet calm, patterns and peace. It’s a hive of creativity and life, full of house plants that make me happy.

Colorful Home Tour Featured in Domino Magazine

We are starting the year off strong with this colorful home tour featured in one of my design favorites, DOMINO MAGAZINE. This home was so much fun to shoot and is a true reflection of this family's playful attitude and love of color. It is aways fun to see what Redo Home + Design'stalented Lori Paranjape can do with a space and she knocked this one out of the park achieving a current and colorful vibe. I hope you enjoy and here's to a colorful New Year. Xx
