A Peek Inside Victoria Secret Model Josephine Skriver’s Modern Home with AD!

Today I'm finally able to share a project I had the pleasure to shoot a few months ago, and it's such an honor to see it cross the finish line! I recently photographed the stunning Nashville home of Danish model Josephine Skriver, of Victoria's Secret fame, and boyfriend Alexander Deleon, previous lead singer of The Cab and just launched his new album, for Architectural Digest.

When I turned and pulled up the steep drive, I knew instantly that their home was designed by architect Robert Anderson, whose minimalist and modern aesthetic have made him a Nashville and Southern design icon. Within the April Tomlin-designed interior, floor to ceiling windows abound, offering amazing natural light and the perfect bright, clear canvas to shoot the couple.

Despite her intensity on the runway, Josephine is the loveliest and most kind woman. She keeps her home laid back, casual and cool, evoking a mood that is The New Southern at its absolute core. Every single room offers a sense of ease, and the walls could truly hug you if they could. It was the quintessential environment to shoot and yet another reminder that The New Southern is everywhere. I'm so proud to finally share this gallery with you, and I hope it provides visual rest and inspiration for whatever you need today.

A High-Style Bachelor Pad in Austin, Tx with Architectural Digest

I’m excited to share designer James Saavedra’s home in Austin, TX with you. This 750-square-foot condominium is the ultimate example of small space chic!! He’s filled the space with the most amazing art and vintage finds, namely the living room coffee table which is a beautiful piece from John Saladino . The finished product was the fruit of a collaborative styling effort. I incorporated layered elements throughout the home to add dimesion and one of my favorite ways to add depth were the beautiful frames along the kitchen counter to give the space a little structure. The immensely creative James, who’s also an artist, created the black and white drawings in those frames upon my request—the night before the shoot. Improvising: it’s one of the secrets to nailing the perfect shot!!!

A Sundrenched, Contemporary Apartment Remodel in Chicago for AD

It’s not always easy to make a contemporary interior feel lived-in. Often, such spaces feel stark, neutral, and sterile. However, at a recent shoot of Alexis Bednyak’s stunning (and contemporary!) design for Architectural Digest, I found it quite simple to create a warm and inviting look. My Top Tips on Styling and Photographing Your Space with Dering Hall

I am thrilled to partner with Dering Hall today and share my styling and photography expertise!! I felt like I was a photographer long before professionally picking up a camera in the way I wanted to capture a sense of "stillness" and "light" in a moment.
