Peonies + Tulips + Sisters Featured on Grey Likes Baby

During certain seasons, I let flowers inspire my color pallet for my sessions and styling.  For those who know me well, I like everything to be white, crisp, and clean. I happily make exceptions every May/June when the soft hue of peonies are ruling the market. I wanted a playful twist on a sophisticated flower and incorporated waffle cones as a fun prop for the girls. I also created a fun backdrop with Tulips and tape that any DIY'er can try at home. This session was particularly special because I adore this family and these two little girls fill each room of the house with such love and playfulness. Chicago Newborn Session Featured on Grey Likes Baby

I feel like the luckiest girl in the world to have such wonderful clients. I adored working with this family in welcoming their new arrival this past April. Last week, I was Chicago bound to meet the sweet little nugget and capture her darling little toes and smiles. Her mother put together the sweetest little nursery for her little city princess.
